The Alien (named Metroid in the legacy version) is a creature seen in Stealing the Diamond. It is kept on display in the retro-games section of the National Museum of History and Culture.

The alien is a metroid from the eponymous videogame series. In the original release of Stealing the Diamond, the alien was actually named Metroid, but for the remastered version it had to be renamed and redesigned to avoid copyright issues.

During the "Just Plain Epic" path, Henry can release the Alien and order him to attack night guards Joseph Jo and Timothy Lewis, but the alien doesn't like being commanded and instead grabs Henry's head, possibly killing him and leading to a fail.

• Puffballs United has confirmed on stream that the alien noises in the remaster were done by himself.
• The option is a reference to Metroid.
