Biography[]
Billy G. was a smooth criminal who joined the Toppat Clan at some point. After T.R.N.K. went rogue and turned on the Toppats, Billy defeated him and became the new leader of the clan. During his tenure as the leader of the Toppat Clan, Billy was often thought to be quite romantic, despite multiple claims from different individuals that he was not their lover.
Billy was eventually defeated by Sir Wilford IV, who defeated and overthrew him and became the new leader of the Toppats, until he was in turn defeated and overthrown by Terrence Suave.[1]
Infiltrating the Airship[]
During the "Pure Blooded Thief" pathway, when Geoffrey Plumb catches Henry Stickmin trying to steal the Romanian Ruby, Billy's picture can be seen on a wall in the hallway of the Airship where other famous Toppat Clan leaders are shown in order.
Trivia[]
- Billy G.'s name is a reference to Michael Jackson's 1982 song "Billie Jean" that was released on the Thriller album and released as a single a year later. Alongside "Beat It" and the title track, "Billie Jean" is one of the most popular songs from the Thriller album, and one of his most popular songs overall. His bio is a nod to its signature lyrics from the chorus: "Billie Jean is not my lover."
- According to Michael's autobiography Moonwalker, the character "Billie Jean" from his song was misinterpreted as a female fan who claims to have bore his twin sons. He corrected this misinterpretation saying that "Billie Jean" refers to the experience of his older brothers in The Jackson 5 during his younger years, where female groupies/fans of the band falsely claimed to have bore the children of his brothers.
- In a livestream on Twitch, PuffballsUnited confirmed that the order of the leaders portraits in the Airship's hallway is the order in which those leaders led the Clan; confirming that Billy G. took the rank of leader after T.R.N.K. and was eventually defeated by Sir Wilford IV, who took the rank next.
- Billy's name, alongside all the other former Toppat leaders featured in Pure Blooded Thief, was revealed in the legacy version of Infiltrating the Airship.
