Dusty is a minor posthumous character appearing in Completing the Mission in the "Special BROvert Ops" and "Stickmin Space Resort" pathways.

Appearance[]

Dusty wears a grey top hat with a cobweb. As he is very old, his eyes are shown to be closed, with a dry mouth and holding a cane.

In the portrait, a spider is shown hanging on his hat. His hat in the Toppat Orbital Station vault does not contain the spider as it likely has already died.

Timeline[]

At some time long before the events of the series, Dusty had taken position as Toppat Leader. He went on to have one of the longest runs as leader of the Clan.

As he became very old, his extremely slow movement caused people to think that he was dead most of the time. As revealed and confirmed by his top hat in the vault, Dusty was a good leader which is why the Toppats kept his hat, presumably as a way of honoring him or preserving a part of him.

Completing the Mission[]

Dusty makes an appearance via portrait in the "Special BROvert Ops" pathway. His portrait can be seen in the hall of fame onboard the Toppat Orbital Station behind Hannibal Burns and Smokestack. He also makes a cameo in "Stickmin Space Resort" through the same portrait with a Stickmin Space Resort guest glancing at his portrait.

Trivia[]

His hat can be seen in the Vault in the "Jewel Baron" ending.
- The spider that used to be on the hat however is missing, it most likely fell off or died.
He was a good leader which is why the Toppat Clan kept his hat, as confirmed by PuffballsUnited during the developer commentary.^[1]
He is the oldest character in the game, followed by Dmitri Johannes Petrov.
