Boss, the train's in trouble! I can't stop iiiiiiiiiit!
Mr. Macbeth[src]

The Toppat Train is a train owned by the Toppat Clan. The train is seen in Completing the Mission, where it is used by the Toppat Clan to transport their members, goods and resources to the Toppat Launch Site to be loaded into the Toppat Orbital Station.

Carts[]

The train consists of multiple Cargo and passenger Carts, including The Golden Money Cart that contains all the Toppat's money. On the exterior, most of the train is reinforced with metal plating, it seems to be coal-powered judging by the smoke coming out of the locomotive, and it has Carts detachable from the bases (as can be seen in the By Air and By Sea choices in “Little Nest Egg”). The train has a total of 26 Carts, excluding the locomotives.

Locomotive[]

The Carts at the very front of the train where Mr. Macbeth drives it. It has a radio to communicate with the Toppat Launch Site's control tower, as can be seen in CG, and controls to start and stop the train. It may also house Mr. Macbeth's rifle in LNE, as it is unlikely, he had it on him the whole time.

Green Cargo Carts 1[]

A green Cargo Carts is present in between the Money Carts and front of the train, it serves no real role. There are many more placed around the train, which serve no purpose.

Money Carts[]

The main plot motivator for Capital Gains and Little Nest Egg. It's painted yellow and has a golden coin on the side of it. It contains all of the Toppat Clan's wealth being transported to the Toppat Launch Site. It appears to be reinforced as it sustains much less damage than the other components of the train.

Passenger Carts 1[]

The train is seen to have many green passenger Carts with the purpose of seating Toppat members. The train holds four passenger Carts, with each having varying amounts of windows, with there being seating for three people per window.

Gatling Gun Carts 1[]

A Carts with an orange flat base and a blue gatling gun attached instead of the main part of a Carts. Blast Connors operates this Carts in Little Nest Egg to shoot down Henry.

Passenger Carts 2[]

This passenger Carts is filled with Toppats armed with assault rifles, Henry enters this Carts during the Little Nest Egg pathway if the player chooses Inside, which leads to a fail.

Tank Carts[]

There is a Carts behind the two passenger Carts which appears to be possibly holding a Government tank since its painted green.

Vehicle Carts[]

There is a Carts right behind the Tank Carts which appears to be holding two Carts. The yellow one is most likely the one in the Toppat Orbital Station that Henry drives off with in Cleaned 'em Out.

Passenger Carts 3[]

This passenger Carts was smashed by the Tank in a Box by Henry during the Little Nest Egg pathway.

Passenger Carts 4[]

The last passenger Carts behind a green Cargo Carts and the Vehicle Carts which serves no purpose other than to transport Toppat members. It seems to hold the most members out of all the passenger carts.

Red Cargo Carts 1[]

The Carts that Henry hides in at the start of Cleaned 'em Out. It contains a variety of crates and stacked hats and is connected to Passenger Carts 4. Thomas Chipz and Filbert Philbert inspect this Cart in the pathway, but don't notice Henry until he gets in using the Magic Hat.

Gatling Gun Carts 2[]

There is another gatling turret Carts at the back of the train, which is not encountered, which likely means it was unmanned during the events of Capital Gains and Little Nest Egg.

Fuel Tank Carts[]

There are 6 fuel tank Carts connected to different parts of the train that serves no purpose, but its possibly transporting rocket fuel to the Toppat Launch Site to fuel up the Toppat Orbital Station before blast off.

Cargo Container Carts[]

There are 2 flatbed Carts in front of Gatling Gun Carts 2, these Carts have a Cargo container on each of them which serves no purpose.

Red And Green Cargo Carts[]

There are also multiple Cargo Carts connected to the train possibly filled with resources and luggage, none of the Cargo Carts serves any purpose, except for Green Cargo Carts 1 and Red Cargo Carts 1.

Locomotive 2[]

The Locomotive at the end of the train allows the entire train to reverse its direction, this Locomotive was possibly not operated by a crew, as well that it serves no purpose.

Role[]

In most pathways, the train is already at the launch station and plays no role. It is however featured prominently in the Little Nest Egg and Capital Gains pathways, in which Henry (Helped by Ellie Rose in the latter) tries to rob the train before it reaches the launch site.

It also plays a major role in the "Cleaned 'em Out" pathway, in which Henry stows away on board the train to get into the Launch Site and rob the Orbital Station before liftoff.

Trivia[]

  • The Train appears to have two steam locomotives (one at the front and one at the back), yet no tender is seen.
  • The locomotive's exterior design is heavily based on the Norfolk and Western 4-8-4 class J. It may also take inspiration from the Pennsylvania Railroad 6-4-4-6 S1, The interior seems to be from a diesel locomotive. This is likely a mistake by PuffballsUnited. As to him, the locomotives are freelance and do not represent a specific prototype.
  • Despite being a steam locomotive, it has a Leslie A200 air horn, as heard on early diesels and electrics, such as EMD F units, Baldwin RF-16s and PRR GG1s, as well as very few steam locomotives, including Southern Pacific GS classes except GS1s, AC-9 Yellowstones & multiple Cab Forwards (AC-10, AC-11 & AC-12).
  • The train is escorted by multiple pick-up trucks, SUVs and buses.
    • The SUVs have no weapons attached to it, as the operators possibly use assault rifles instead.
    • The pick-up trucks have machine guns attached to it, possibly used to shoot intruders that are already inside the train; since the gatling guns cannot reach neither ends of the Carts unless they aim up.
    • The buses are the most dangerous in the escort as they have sword launchers that fires rapidly and can penetrate most materials, except for the Tank in a Box which seems to have extremely thick armor.
  • The locomotive at the back may not have a purpose on the train, but that was used to help couple up the other half of the train before the day of the launch. This kind of method was frequently seen for diesel locomotives pulling very long, and very heavy freight train manifests in the US.
