- PuffballsUnited thinks he named him after Thomas Hanley (better known as "Handsome Tom"), the co-founder of a videogame company named "ScrewAttack".
- He, along with Cuppa Joe are only toppats to not have a black or grey hat in the legacy version of Infiltrating the Airship.
- Coincidentally, both of these characters has blue hats.
- A character that resembles Harold can be seen in PuffballsUnited's first animation Operation Infiltration.
