Hanz Spearman is a member of the Toppat Clan and a minor character in Infiltrating the Airship.
He never makes a physical appearance in any of the games with his appearance only being exclusive to the ItA intro.

Appearance[]
Spearman is a Toppat who wears a black top hat with dark brown shoes. His weapon of choice is a semi-long silver spear. In the Legacy Version of the game he has no teeth, however in the remastered version, he is now seen to have visible teeth.
Personality[]
Although he never makes a physical appearance outside the Infiltrating the Airship intro, his bio describes him as a bit of a loose cannon.
His appearance in the intro also showed that he is rather wild, aggressive and dangerous.
Infiltrating the Airship[]
He appears only during the intro when Captain Hubert Galeforce informs Henry Stickmin about the Toppats. Here, Spearman can be seen alongside other Toppats such as Geoffrey Plumb, Reginald Copperbottom, Right Hand Man and Sledge MacRush who like him, are also wielding their weapon of choice. Outside of this Spearman never makes a physical appearance in game or any of the following ones.
Trivia[]
- His last name is a pun on his weapon of choice (a spear).
- Hanz's remastered appearance is also seen with his head even more tilted.
- In the bio, "Being a loose canon" is an idiom for when someone is a dangerously uncontrollable person which makes sense as he is shown to be crazy and uncontrollable.
- In A Developer Commentary for The Henry Stickmin Collection, PuffballsUnited has said that he wish that he had given Sledge MacRush and Hanz Spearman a bigger role.
- Although he only appears in the intro, as he appears alongside Reginald, RHM, Geoffrey and Sledge MacRush, he is most likely related to the Airship Division
- Because of his appearance alongside Reginald and RHM, he may be an elite member of the clan.
