― Hatchman's Bio |
Hatchman is a member of the Toppat Clan and a minor antagonist who appears in Infiltrating the Airship during the "Government Supported Private Investigator" pathway.
As his nickname implies, he is the guard of the Toppat Clan's Airship hatch. He sticks to his post on the lookout for any intruders looking to enter the airship through the hatch. He is like a doorman, but for hatches.
Appearance[]
Not much is shown of him, except for his head. However, he wears a chipped and arched black hat and uses a shotgun to shoot at trespassers. He is shown mostly squinting to adjust his view.
Infiltrating the Airship[]
After Charles Calvin drops Henry Stickmin off on top of the Airship, Henry is alerted by Charles about "a bad guy" close to the hatch denying him from moving any further. To get past the Hatchman, Henry can:
- C4 - Henry uses a bomb to destroy the hatch, tearing it from the Airship. Seconds later, it hits him and he is removed from the Airship.
- Knock - Henry knocks in the hatch in hopes of the Toppat letting him in. When Hatchman opens it, he notices that Henry isn't a Toppat and quickly reacts by pointing his gun.
- Acid - Henry pours out a bottle of acid to dissolve the hatch and kill Hatchman, only to be splashed by the substance himself. His legs promprly melt away and he is blown off the Airship.
- Vacuum - Henry sets up a vacuum to remove Hatchman and the hatch itself, trapping them both inside and giving him access.
Since the Vacuum firmly sits on the Airship and he has no way of getting out, Hatchman was likely killed by asphyxiation. Otherwise, he is presumably arrested alongside all other Toppats by the Government after they seize the Airship.
