Fleeing the Complex
Convict Allies
Shortly after Ellie Rose is brought into a vent by Henry Stickmin above his cell, the duo climbs into a warehouse with guards Isaac and Heath Stone chatting about their favorite mobile game Hearthstone. One way to take them out must be chosen cautiously.
- Distract - Henry begins dancing to offer a distraction in order for Ellie to do something. Isaac, initially opposed to it, finds the music and dancing catchy, as a result joins. In the course of this failure, the others come together in the same fashion as Isaac.
- Bounce Bros - Henry boosts up Ellie high in the air, in position to catch her but fails once she gets down knocking them out both. This alerts Isaac and Heath, who presumably apprehend the two as a result.
- Tall Guy - With Ellie down and standing as the base, Henry tries to socialize with Isaac and Heath to what they suspect and raise their weapons to him.
- Synchronized Takedown - Ellie and Henry wait for the right moment to attack simultaneously. At that time, Ellie strangles Isaac while Henry goes for Heath. This results in success and allows the duo to continue.
Now safe to move from the warehouse unseen, the two continue further down the hallway and find a locked room.

Ghost Inmate
In a vent above Henry’s cell, the aforementioned abandons Ellie and shortly thereafter goes up spotting Isaac having a conversation with Heath Stone about the multiplayer game Hearthstone. A way to get rid of them must be chosen wisely.
- Command Melody - Using The Legend of Zelda’s Wind Waker, Henry controls Isaac’s mind to take him to a cell later locking himself in. The camera cuts to Heath, who is unaffected, with his fists closed to Henry.
- Pickpocket - Henry pickpockets Isaac and manages to steal essential items such as his boots and the spear of shocks. However, he collects unnecessary items filling the bag, which is too heavy by then making him fall to the ground alerting the two.
- Sprint - Henry runs in front of the guards, who wonder how to respond which leads to Isaac suggesting to fire at Henry. Midst the hallway, the Spear of Shocks is fired at Henry, obliterating him.
- Whoopee Cushion - Henry throws a whoopee cushion tied to a stone at the two, who begin to accuse each other with Isaac strongly defending himself, resorting to fists.
Henry walks past while the two fight and down the hallway to the door, which is locked.
