| ― John "Frog" Pilksin's Bio |
John Pilksin, codename: "Frog", is the leader of a Bounty Hunters Unit in The Government and a major character in Completing the Mission, specifically, as one of the 3 deuteragonists in the "Master Bounty Hunter" ending. He is a master when it comes to stealth and infiltration, and he is also the unit's espionage expert.
Frog, a hardened career soldier, often displays a calm and collected demeanor, rarely showing any signs of fear in extreme circumstances. He assists Gordon Banks, Amelia Esteban, and Henry Stickmin in either capturing or eliminating the Right Hand Man. Unfortunately, all of them except Henry are killed by the Right Hand Man when Henry chooses "Suppressing Fire."
He is voiced by PuffballsUnited.
Role[]
John appears as the deuteragonist of Completing the Mission. He appears as one of the three deuteragonists of Master Bounty Hunter.
Completing the Mission[]
John "Frog" Pilksin appears in "Master Bounty Hunter" as the leader of the Government's Bounty Hunters Unit, partnered with Gordon Banks, Amelia Esteban and the one and only "legend", Henry Stickmin.
According to the codec conversation with General Hubert Galeforce, their mission is to infiltrate the Toppat Launch Site and to either capture or eliminate the Toppat Clan's new leader, the Right Hand Man. The Right Hand Man has also received some cybernetic augmentations after the events of Infiltrating the Airship; it didn't seem to look like a problem to them, however.
After the conversation, the team commences the infiltration mission. After Henry "converts" Kayn West to become part of their team, Frog put the newly-converted member on guard outside of the base to keep Toppat Clan members from entering their vicinity. As Eel takes a look at the Toppat Clan's surveillance feed, the team has located the Right Hand Man in the warehouse and advances toward there. As soon as they open the door, the Toppat leader and his subordinates are trading shots with Bort Sampson, Rupert Price, and Ambert Downs. Upon the scene, the bounty hunters come up with a plan of Suppressing Fire, which means they have to provide distraction by shooting RHM and his lackeys with relentless firepower while Henry branches off to the left side in their vicinity to flank RHM.
As Henry runs to the left side of the door, RHM notices him and fires an energy blast straight at Frog, Eel, and Turtle, resulting them to be killed in action.

Trivia[]
- Frog is a parody of the legendary mercenary and Metal Gear Solid's primary protagonist, Solid Snake, as evident from Frog's bandana and the deep and raspy-like voice. He is also based on the Stickpage mascot Crazy Jay.
- Frog's quote, "Really kept us waiting, huh?", is a direct reference to one of Solid/Naked/Venom Snake's iconic quotes, "Kept you waiting, huh?", which refers to a running gag where all three Snakes tend to say it after a lengthy opening sequence, essentially making it "fourth wall breaking".
- Frog's name can be separated into two different Metal Gear Solid protagonists, the name "John" is a reference to Naked Snake/Big Boss's real name as revealed from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, while "Pilksin" is a reference to Iroquois Pliskin (albeit misspelled, presumably to prevent copyright) from Sons of Liberty, who is an alias of Solid Snake.
- Not to be confused with his former mentor and commanding officer, The Boss.
- Also not to be confused with his combat medic-turned-body double, Ahab/Venom Snake.
- Solid Snake was created as a clone of Naked Snake, alongside his two "brothers", Solidus and Liquid. Solid possesses the recessive genes of Big Boss, while Liquid possesses the dominant genes (though in Metal Gear Solid/The Twin Snakes, Liquid was falsely under the impression that HE has the inferior genes, while Solid has the superior genes). Solidus, on the other hand, possesses both dominant and recessive genes, making him the "perfect clone" of Big Boss.
- Not to be confused with his former mentor and commanding officer, The Boss.
- He is over the age 47 according to the Codec Conversation with General.
- He has been in the Military for 30 years, with the youngest age to enlist in the military being 17-18.
- His codename, Frog, may be a reference to MGS3's opening song, Snake Eater. Specifically the lyrics: "Someday, you'll feed on a tree frog".
- His quote, "The Toppats? Weren't they brought down by Henry?", is a reference to a running gag in the Metal Gear Solid series where either Solid Snake or Big Boss would echo the topic in a questioning manner, or perhaps inquire unnecessary questions during Codec conversations or cinematic cutscenes.
