― Magnus Eriksson's Bio |
Magnus Eriksson is a member of the Toppat Clan and a minor character in Infiltrating the Airship.
Magnus is an eager new member of the Toppats, joining just right before the events of ItA. He is excited to be part of the clan and looking to move up the ranks.
He appears as a minor antagonist in "Government Supported Private Investigator", an unseen minor antagonist in "Relentless Bounty Hunter", "Pure Blooded Thief" and a minor character in "Rapidly Promoted Executive".
Profile[]
Appearance[]
Magnus is a Toppat who wears a short light grey top hat and bears a bright yellow, goatee.
However, in the remaster, he wears a short white top hat and bears a light brown goatee instead. The color of his shoes aren't shown.
Personality[]
Magnus is shown to be an outgoing and eccentric person. In a meeting for potential new Toppat Clan weapons, he suggests buying a solid gold cannon, a huge and expensive weapon, claiming that it's a great idea that the Toppats can pull off. He is very excited and upfront about it, defending his idea when arguing with Slice and even asking other members about their opinions on it.
He is also shown getting along with Henry Stickmin at the end of "Rapidly Promoted Executive" when Henry becomes the leader and pitches new ideas for the clan, ideas which Magnus is shown getting giddy over.
Infiltrating the Airship[]
Government Supported Private Investigator[]
Magnus can be seen in the boardroom of the Airship, discussing new weapons for the clan with other Toppats such as Winston Davis, Floyd Winters and Derbert Daniels. The meeting is pitched by Slice and he asks about ideas on new weapons for the clan. Right off the bat, Magnus suggests that a golden cannon would be a very good choice of weapon though Slice views it as unrealistic leading to a back and forth between the two.
Slice argues that a solid gold canon would weigh too much and be difficult to handle while Magnus defends it and is confident int the fact that the Toppats have enough power for one. This leads him to ask other members at the meeting such as Winston Davis (who isn't sure himself) what they think in the hopes that they'll also agree on the idea. Slice eventually discusses about going up to three calibers for the cannon and what originally started out as a bad idea turns into something the Toppats go through with as seen from the "Special BROvert Ops" path of Completing the Mission.
Rapidly Promoted Executive[]
He also appears at in the credits of "Rapidly Promoted Executive" in the same boardroom this time with the new Toppat Leader Henry Stickmin, discussing about plans with Reginald Copperbottom. Magnus here is eccentric and follows along with Henry.

Government Supported Private Investigator (Off-screen Relentless Bounty Hunter/Rapidly Promoted Executive, Pure Blooded Thief)[]
- "Dude that's so sick!"
- "I was kinda thinking-"
- "Why not, man?"
- "Dude, we totally got enough power!"
- "What do you think, man?"
Trivia[]
- Originally, Magnus was not in the credits of Rapidly Promoted Executive, but rather a bearded member of the Toppat Clan shown having the same expression.
- The reason for this replacement may have been to be consistent with Government Supported Private Investigator, where no bearded Toppat is seen in the developing room.
- His name, Magnus Eriksson, sounds similar to that of Marcus Ericsson, a Swedish race car driver who competed in both Formula 1 and the IndyCar Racing Series.
