Matteus Guardsmith (Swedish: Matteus Vaktsmed) is a minor antagonist in Fleeing the Complex, who appears as one of the two final antagonists only in "Ghost Inmate" pathway.
He is seen with Nicholai Dytrim guarding the docks. Henry Stickmin has to sneak past them, which he can do with a Leaf. Later, when Henry steals the Dinghy, Nicholai and Matteus see him sail away, but confuse him for Gordon Smith. According to his bio, the earmuffs he is wearing were a gift to him from his mother; something Matteus is a bit embarrassed about.
If Henry chooses to use the Box to try and get past the guards, Matteus notices the box, but fails to notice Henry inside it. He then sits down on it and plays poker with Nicholai, trapping Henry there.

He is a regular stick figure, with blue shoes and Red Earmuffs, but in the Legacy Version, his earmuffs are grey.
