Mert Steel (Turkish: Mert Çelik) is a character appearing in Infiltrating the Airship during the final cutscene of Pure Blooded Thief.

He is an employee of the Center for Chaos Containment.

Appearance

Mert Steel a stick figure who wears blue shoes as part of his CCC uniform. Due to this, he resembles Henry Stickmin in appearance when he takes off his suit. His prototype suit ia what mainly distguishes him and the blasting arm and large fist.

Infiltrating the Airship

Near the climax of "Pure Blooded Thief", after the Airship of the Toppat Clan crashes outside the CCC headquarters and a huge battle between the clan and the army begins, Wilson Stone orders Mert, Kert, and Mortdecai Booker to attack both sides and neutralize the chaos. Mert can be seen electrocuting several Toppats, (the only ones shown onscreen being Sammy Sorry, Quickdraw, and Googuy) with his suit, reducing them to ash.

Soon afterward, however, he needs to urinate. He lands next to Henry and takes off his suit to do so, giving Henry a chance to steal the suit and escape with the Romanian Ruby. Mert's fate after that is left ambigious.

Trivia

• His initial bio description is also the same description as his twin brother, Kert Steel, since both of them created the mobile suit prototype together.
• He is the only CCC with the prototype suit user that is shown without a prototype suit.
• He, along with Kert are one of the two pairs of characters in the series that are twins. The other pair being Konrad and Calvin Bukowski.
