NCC is a channel that appears on Stealing the Diamond and in the legacy version of Infiltrating the Airship (possibly in it's remaster as well).
Though it isn't explicitly stated, it can be inferred that NCC is a news network and channel which covers various different topics since the channel is seen covering that in all of it's appearances.
Stealing the Diamond[]
The channel is featured in the intro of Stealing the Diamond, when Mayor Fredrickson is showing off the Tunisian Exhibition's opening, featuring various artifacts from Tunisia, including the Tunisian Diamond. The message on the bottom says "A diamond worth 122 million dollars" (12 Million in the legacy), showing off the diamond's high value, which interests Henry Stickmin in stealing it.
Infiltrating the Airship[]
In the legacy end scene of "Government Supported Private Investigator," the channel logo can be seen in the bottom while the screen shows the Toppat Leader and his Right Hand Man arrested. The channel also reports the takedown of the Toppat Clan and the Toppats' criminal records being sent in by an anonymous source/tip (Henry Stickmin; who is secretly working for the Government in this path). In the legacy version, the news says that several hundreds were arrested, while in the remaster says that a hundreds got arrested (The Airship Division) but the rest is still in large (referring to the other Divisions).
It is possible that the news channel seen in the remastered version of ItA's GSPI ending is the NCC though the watermark logo is absent.
Trivia[]
- Although the name of the channel is very similar to "BCC News" which references the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation), it is more likely that the name of the channel is a spoof of CNN (Cable News Network) as it shares the same letters which seem to be inversed.
- The logo for the NCC is absent in the news channel that Henry views at the end of GSPI in the remastered ItA. It is unknown if this channel is still the NCC channel although it is possible since Henry viewed the NCC channel in the legacy version.
