Profile
Appearance
Rupert Price is a stick figure who bears side burns (typically blocky-shaped) and usually wears an outfit that accompanies his job.
His sideburns in Escaping the Prison and Stealing the Diamond have a blocky design that didn't make them look like hairs, but they become bushy in Infiltrating the Airship, making them look more like actual hairs. In his short appearance in Completing the Mission, the sideburns look blocky again, meaning that his design with the more realistic hair is the odd one. Rupert wears grey shoes in EtP, blue shoes in StD to match with his police outfit, and dark green shoes in ItA and CtM[1] to match with his military outfit.
Roles
Rupert appears as the two central antagonists alongside Dave Panpa of Escaping the Prison, a major antagonist of Stealing the Diamond, and a major character of Infiltrating the Airship and Completing the Mission.
In Escaping the Prison, Rupert appears as:
- A major antagonist in almost every pathway.
- The tertiary antagonists of Sneaky Escapist.
In Stealing the Diamond, Rupert appears as:
- A major antagonist of Intruder on a Scooter.
In Infiltrating the Airship, Rupert appears as:
- A supporting character of Government Supported Private Investigator, Relentless Bounty Hunter and Pure Blooded Thief.
- The tertiary antagonist of Rapidly Promoted Executive.
In Completing the Mission, Rupert appears as:
- A supporting character of Master Bounty Hunter and Multiverse Correction.
Personality
Rupert was in the police force for 8 years, joining the police academy right out of high school. While there, he liked to tease the prisoners, shown when Rupert joked about Henry being free to go and then laughed.
After Henry's escape from the prison, Rupert becomes determined to work extra hard to make up for the mistake. After Henry's successful theft of the Tunisian Diamond, Rupert leaves the police force and joins the military since he believes he could do more there. He is shown to be a loyal member of the military, sticking by Captain Hubert Galeforce's side and going on more and more intense missions.
Overall, Rupert starts out as generally easy-going and a little laxed but over the course of the games becomes even more determined as he strives to work harder and tries to fix his mistake. He also seems to become way more serious as he keeps the same straight expression for almost the entirety of Infiltrating the Airship with only a few different facial expressions. He also doesn't speak at all showing his gained nature of being serious.
Escaping the Prison
At some point prior to Henry's arrest after his failure to rob the bank, Rupert was teamed up with Dave Panpa, another officer at the penitentiary.
After Henry's arrest, a mysterious package interdimensionally appeared out of nowhere at the prison (due to Ellias Bahtchin fixing the multiverse anomaly a year later). Dave found the box and told Rupert it was for Henry. His job was to check the package for anything useful. Unfortunately, Dave completely neglected that job and did not check the box, so whatever was in there was going to Henry, no matter what.
Rupert went upstairs with Dave to Henry's cell to give him the package. Rupert, standing next to Dave, told Henry he was "free to go". After Henry became excited, Rupert laughed and said, "Not really. But you got a package." Rupert kicked the package into Henry's cell, and he told Henry not to get his hopes up about what was inside it because Dave already checked it for anything he could use, although Dave never even bothered to open it. That's when Dave realized that he did NOT do what he was supposed to, and now it was too late. So he said that of course he checked the package, otherwise he would "lose [his] job". Then he and his partner left, leaving Henry alone with the package, which turned out to have a cake inside, with — of course — something useful inside.
Henry's Options
These are the variations of the situation that Dave is in, depending on what the player makes Henry do. Whatever they click on changes what happens.
- If Henry pulls the NrG Drink out of the cake that is inside the package, his heartbeat starts increasing, and in a few seconds he finds that he has super speed and super strength, making him thousands of times stronger and faster than any man. Henry pushes on one of the metal bars keeping him in his cell and escapes. As he walks down the hallway, he runs into Dave and Rupert, who are walking around smiling. Since he is thousands of mph faster than them, they don't see him; in fact they appear to be standing still to him. To get even for the joke Rupert played on Henry, he picks up Rupert by the torso and takes him away from Dave, proceeding to place his whole body in a nearby trash can. Henry walks away about fifty thousand fractions of a second before Dave has time to react to Rupert's mysterious misplacement.
- If Henry pulls the File out of the cake, he uses it on one of the bars keeping him in and takes it out with him. Rupert hears him and comes for him, trying to attack him. If Henry doesn't react quick enough, Rupert knocks him out. If Henry reacts quick enough, he knocks out Rupert. Dave hears this, and comes after Henry with a taser.
- If Henry doesn't hear and react quickly, Dave tases Henry, and he falls to the floor, knocked out in front of Dave.
- If he DOES react quickly, Henry knocks out Dave with the metal bar. He proceeds to escape the penitentiary.
After Henry's escape from West Mesa Penitentiary, the officers at the prison realized there was a cake inside Henry's mysterious package, with something in it that allowed Henry to escape (either the file, the drill or the cellphone). As a result, Dave was fired from his duties for negligence with Rupert striving to work harder as a way of making up for his mistake.
Stealing the Diamond
Rupert appears during the "Intruder on a Scooter" path. Along with his partner Johnny Panzer, he chases after Henry when the latter steals the Tunisian Diamond from the National Museum of History and Culture and flees on his Scooter. If Henry takes out Johnny with a rock, Rupert calls for backup and continues to chase Henry. He and James Lancelot eventually corner Henry at a broken bridge, where Henry escapes by pushing the diamond into the river below. Rupert and James leave, unaware of Henry eventually surviving the heist with the diamond.
Infiltrating the Airship
Rupert plays a small but prominent role in Infiltrating the Airship. He's moved up from being in the police force, to the military. He always sticks to Captain Galeforce's side and holds his gun firm taking his job very seriously as shown by his facial expressions.
During the end of the "Relentless Bounty Hunter" route, Rupert shows up alongside Galeforce and Charles Calvin as the three all take Reginald Copperbottom, the leader of the Toppat Clan, into custody. They also pardon Henry as he has did his job as promised and is now an affiliate of the U.S. Government.
In "Pure Blooded Thief", when General Galeforce order an attack on the Toppat Clan's Airship after discovering Henry went rogue. Rupert is rushed out of Charles' Transport Helicopter and onto the battlefield as he and other soldiers such as Mac Damper go to war. However, whatever happens to Rupert is dependent on how Wilson Stone, A CCC Director, does.
During the Dark Energy Bomb fail caused by Wilson, Rupert dies due to being disintegrated by the Dark Energy. Additionally, Rupert presumably dies in the Laser Cut and G.A.B.E.N. fails due to being sent into space and not fleeing when the active G.A.B.E.N. was corrupting the Desert.
In the "Lightning Quick Larcenist" fake ending, he can be seen slowly pointing his gun at Henry and presumably killing him for having failed the mission on capturing the Toppat secret files.
Completing the Mission
Rupert has two cameos in Completing the Mission, specifically in the "Master Bounty Hunter" route and the "Multiverse Correction" secret ending.
Master Bounty Hunter
He is seen at the roll-up door of the warehouse along with Ambert Downs and Bort Sampson exchanging gunfire with the Right Hand Man and his subordinates. He, Ambert, and Bort are later seen in shock and panic as the Right Hand Man obliterates John "Frog" Pilksin, Gordon "Eel" Banks, and Amelia "Turtle" Esteban and calls out Henry's presence in the warehouse. The three are knocked out by the Right Hand Man shortly after when he charges at Henry. It is unknown whether Rupert survived the raid or not.
Multiverse Correction
After Dave picks up the package for Henry, Rupert can be heard saying "Oi, Dave!". Dave tells him he's got a package for Henry and Rupert responds with "I love delivering packages."

Trivia
- There had been an assumption/fandom joke going around that Rupert is bald under his hat for a while (since there is a scene in EtP where you can see a bald spot when he loses his hat). During the Henry Stickmin Collection Developer Commentary, when multiple people commented on that and questioned it, PuffballsUnited confirmed that "he's not bald, he's thinning."
- PuffBalls posted on his Twitter a video of Rupert's hat being taken off, showing that he really was bald, unless he hadn't intended to make him bald.
- Rupert is about 26 years old[2]
- He is the second cop ever seen in the series with Dave Panpa being the first one. Though Rupert is the first new cop seen in Escaping the Prison, Dave was present in the legacy edition of BtB where he shoves Henry into a jail cell.
- In the fake Lightning Quick Larcenist ending, it is presumed that he shoots and kills Henry after he fails to capture the Toppat Clan's secret files. If he did, he probably had did it with no orders of Captain Galeforce, as he was closing his eyes due to being upset because of Henry's fail. He also seems he did not mean that, as his hands were shacking.
- He is one of the 2 non-main characters to appear in the most games (4), along with Dave Panpa.
- However this is if only the The Henry Stickmin Collection is counted, and not the entire series in general, as Dave appears in 5 games overall (appearing in the legacy version of Breaking the Bank).
- While Dave kept his role as a supporting character each game, Rupert first became a non-speaking character in Infiltrating the Airship, then a background character in Completing the Mission.
- Puffballs has said that in Completing the Mission, he forgot to add Rupert for some time, eventually introducing him as a cameo in "Master Bounty Hunter" and a brief role in the "Multiverse Correction."
- He is the first character to have irregular shoes prior to a redesign in the remastered version, with the second being Stump Blump and third being Tony Franz.

- ↑ Rupert joined the police academy right after high school according to his EtP Bio and the minimum age to be in a police academy is as young as 18. Combine this with the fact Rupert has been on the force for 8 years and this means that he is about 26 and at least 25.
