Sal Malone is a member of the Toppat Clan and stationed in the Dogobogo Jungle appearing in Completing the Mission. Sal shows up as a supporting minor antagonist in "Stickmin Space Resort" and as a minor antagonist in "Triple Threat"
Sal initially used to be a member of the mafia, but thought there were too many Italians in it already, and thus, he left the mafia to become a member of the Toppat Clan.

Completing the Mission[]
Stickmin Space Resort[]
In the "Stickmin Space Resort" pathway, Sal is arguing with his partner Icepick while they work. Icepick is complaining that his dark-colored, fur covered hat makes work hotter (since he usually works in a colder region), but Sal, annoyed by Icepick's complaining to him, chastises him by saying he's not allowed to change hats.
Sal is soon run over by Henry riding on his Scooter, losing his hat, which is promptly taken and worn by Icepick. Sal is seen later on Henry's scooter where he is still conscious and hanging on, apparently trying to get his hands on the scooter, however, Henry then punches him and knocks him onto the ramp. Sal similarly to Icepick is later arrested by the Government during The Toppat Raid as explained by B. Hampton during the credits of Stickmin Space Resort.
Triple Threat[]
In the "Triple Threat" pathway, Sal can be seen doing the Distraction Dance in the background during Diversion where Henry alongside Ellie Rose distract all the Toppats in the cafeteria. Sal in this pathway, similarly to Stickmin Space Resort is presumably apprehended off-screen when the Toppat Orbital Station is sent to The Wall.

- It is possible that Sal threw the Spiny Shell that killed Henry in the Ramp option, as his partner wanted to change his hat too much to care since he was getting too hot. If Henry goes for the crates, Sal would've found no reason to throw the Spiny Shell due to the weapon's purpose defeated by the bombs in the crate and Sal's partner doesn't respond if the timeout occurs. Kayn West could be another person who through it, although a detractor could be that if Kayn threw the Spiny Shell, the route would be unwinnable as he would've gotten Henry even if the correct choice was made.
- His name is a likely reference to Sam Malone, who is a character portrayed by Ted Danson in the TV show Cheers.
- His name is possibly named after Post Malone.
- His name could be a reference to Al Capone.
- He, along with Two-Ton Tony, Tony Franz are the only characters to ever be in the mafia.
- According to his line, nobody on the Toppat Clan is allowed to change their top hats; this is most likely to recognize their identity.
- Sal Malone is extremely identical to other Toppat members as they all wear a white top hat and white shoes like Whitehead, Mr. Blanc and Stu Pendles.
