Samuel Mundy, also known as The Sniper, is a major character in Team Fortress 2. In the Henry Stickmin series, he appears as a minor antagonist in Stealing the Diamond and Infiltrating the Airship, appearing in the "Intruder on a Scooter" and "Pure Blooded Thief" pathways.
Bio[]
- Stealing the Diamond: He's not a crazed assassin, but he doesn't work for the police department either. Looks like he was hired for a job.
- Infiltrating the Airship: He was contracted out in case a large battle with the Toppats broke out.
Appearance[]
He wears a brown sheriff hat and shoes. He has black glasses. He carries a sniper rifle around. He is shown to have grown hair and wears brown gloves in Infiltrating the Airship.
Stealing the Diamond[]
According to his in-game biographies, Samuel appears to be a mercenary.
His first appearance was in Stealing the Diamond, during the police chase in the "Intruder on a Scooter" pathway, with him being summoned after officer Rupert Price calls in a helicopter after Henry uses a rock to defeat and kill Johnny. Samuel sits in a helicopter with Jack Sheen and attempts to snipe Henry.
Henry can try to avoid the shot:
- Time Out - Henry takes too long to react, and Samuel manages to score a headshot on Henry, sarcastically commanding that Henry "waves goodbye to his head".
- Sticky Grenade - Henry uses a Sticky Grenade and tries throwing at the helicopter, but the grenade sticks on his hand and he does not manage to get it out. Samuel Mundy watches Henry getting blown up by himself confusingly.
- Bubble - Henry sets a bubble shield on his scooter, which reflects Samuel's shots, and he loses sight when Henry enters a tunnel.
Infiltrating the Airship[]
Samuel Mundy also appears in Infiltrating The Airship during the "Pure Blooded Thief" pathway. He is now contracted by the Government in case a battle between them and the Toppats broke out. Samuel can be seen during the battle between the Government and Toppat Clan. He attempts to snipe someone, but Jaque LeTouche kills him from behind.

- Samuel Mundy is the Sniper class from Team Fortress 2. His quote is also the exact same line that the Sniper says (in the legacy edition, his audio is ripped directly from the Team Fortress 2 game files), as well as the fail screen saying "BOOM! Headshot". [1][2]
- He is 1 of 4 characters that are references to the playable mercenaries from TF2 (Being a reference to The Sniper). The others being Jaque LeTouche (The Spy), Misha Sashavo (The Heavy) and Travis DeGroot (The Demoman).
- His Stealing the Diamond bio states that he’s not affiliated with anyone, but he’s just been hired for a job. In Team Fortress 2, the playable characters are hired mercenaries.
- In the original version of Stealing the Diamond, his voice line is ripped directly from Team Fortress 2. In the mobile and remastered version, it was changed to be voiced by Puffballs himself in order to avoid copyright.
- When Samuel Mundy gets backstabbed by Jaque LeTouche, a sound effect is heard, this is a reference to the Domination sound effect from Team Fortress 2.
- When Samuel Mundy gets backstabbed by Jaque LeTouche, it's a reference from Meet The Spy From Team Fortress 2, the red spy in the video kills Medic And engineer then sniper and backstabbed sniper, same from Infiltrating the Airship.
- Samuel Mundy’s name is an allusion to that of the Sniper from Team Fortress 2, whose surname is given as “Mundy”.
