| ― Speed Shoes' Fail Message |
The Speed Shoes are shoes appearing in Fleeing the Complex during the Presumed Dead route.
Henry can choose the shoes while running down a hallway of The Wall, while a guard prepares to gun him down. The shoes give Henry enough speed to escape the guard, but he can’t stop in time, because he is too fast, and crashes into a wall. The speed of the music also speeds up during this fail.

- The speed shoes are modeled after Sonic's shoes from the Sonic the Hedgehog games.
- Spinning sound effect can be heard in legacy version, however, the sound effect was removed for avoiding copyright with SEGA.
- In the Henry Stickmin Collection Developer Commentary, PuffballsUnited has said that originally, Henry was going to run up the wall and blast off to outer space since he's too fast.
