Stickmin Space Resort is one of the sixteen endings in Completing the Mission.
After overhearing a Toppat on the phone discussing the Toppats' rocket plans while disguised in the Tavern, Henry Stickmin sets out to the Dogobogo Jungle to infiltrate and once again steal from the Toppat Clan for his own benefit, specifically their docked space station this time.
The ending is set after the events of the "Pure Blooded Thief" and "Presumed Dead" endings.
Walkthrough
Intro: Overheard Phone Call
Following his escape from The Wall by faking his death, Henry is hiding out at a Tavern wearing his Mysterious Vagabond mask. He overhears a Toppat member named Icepick make a phone call about the upcoming launch of their Toppat Orbital Station. During the call, Icepick accidentally reveals parcels of information regarding the mission, causing an excited Henry to set course for the Toppat Launch Site, in an effort to steal the entire station.
Four hours before launch, on the outskirts of the launch base, Henry races towards the rocket using his Scooter and finds the entrance blocked by a boom barrier, with Kayn West on patrol. Note that all options are Quick Time Events.
- [X] Timeout: If the player does nothing, Henry crashes into the barrier. Message: Off to a good start.
- [X] Limbo: Henry lowers the scooter’s handlebars and tries to limbo underneath the barrier but is unable to bend far enough to avoid it. He collides with the barrier, breaking his torso in half. Message: That's as far back as you can go?
- [X] Jump: Henry attempts to jump over the barrier. While he jumps high enough for himself to make it over, the scooter does not, and is destroyed in the process. Henry then sinks into the ground. Message: Sweet hops, bro.
- Stop: Henry stops and asks Kayn to raise the barrier. He complies with the request, realizing too late that Henry is not a Toppat member.
Kayn quickly warns Reginald Copperbottom and the Right Hand Man; however, neither of them identify Henry as the guy who stole the Romanian Ruby from them. Reginald orders his men to stop Henry. Henry races to the rocket, going straight for Sal Malone and Icepick, who are arguing because the latter wishes to change hats with each other, but the former tells him he's not allowed to. Henry can:
- [X] Ramp: Henry rides up the ramp, jumps over the Toppats, and continues. Then a Blue Spiny Shell (an item in the Mario Kart games) catches up with him and explodes, reducing Henry to ash. Message: Dread it. Run from it. The shell arrives all the same.
- [X] Crate: Henry crashes through a crate, which turns out to be filled with sticky explosives. Henry can't get rid of them in time and is blown up. Message: Hey that's mine.
- Timeout: Henry simply drives straight ahead, ramming into Sal while knocking his hat off. Soon after that, Icepick takes off his hat and puts on Sal's hat.
Henry punches and pushes Sal off the scooter and goes for the rocket. Reginald orders for the rocket's door to be closed. Henry can:
- [X] Timeout: Henry crashes into the rocket's door. Message: Lag.
- [X] Battering Ram: Henry deploys the scooter's battering ram, but its weight causes the scooter and Henry to fall over. Message: Still ignoring those physics lessons?
- [X] Drill: Henry deploys the drill and rams the rocket, but instead of the drill breaking through the door, it gets stuck, causing the scooter to spin and Henry to fly off. Message: hehehe drill go brrrrrrr
- Spiked Wheels: Henry deploys the spiked wheels, which allow his scooter to vertically race up the Rocket to the dome on top.
Reginald realizes Henry is after the rocket's cockpit. While the Right-Hand Man prepares to take care of the situation, Reginald orders a sniper named Jack Doogan to take Henry out. Henry reaches the dome and can:
- [X] Timeout: Jack kills Henry with an headshot after missing three times. Message: First try!
- [X] Hammer (Left): Henry begins to hammer away at the glass but can't break it in time and is shot. Message: Only 95 more hits to go.
- [X] Hammer (Middle): Henry hits himself on the head with the hammer. Message: Not much of a brain in there to begin with.
- Hammer (Right): Henry uses the hammer to deflect a shot right back at the sniper.
The shockwave caused by the deflection also causes the glass to break and Henry falls into the cockpit. Taking control, he triggers an emergency launch protocol, confusing the Toppats on board as they had around four more hours before the actual launch. The Right Hand Man, in a last-ditch effort, fires a harpoon at the rocket to tether it to Earth and prevent it from launching into space. Henry can:
- [X] Timeout: The rocket runs out of fuel and falls back to the ground. Message: Return to Sender.
- [X] Full Speed: Henry uses the rocket's full power and breaks free from the harpoon tether (initially resulting in a "Mission Complete"), but the rocket runs out of fuel before reaching space, causing it to lose altitude and presumably crash. Message: Outta gas.
- [X] Stage: Henry disconnects the thrusters, and the main body of the rocket falls back to Earth, hurtling towards the Right-Hand Man. Message: Caught a big one!
- Precision Shot: Using a sniper rifle, Henry takes aim at the harpoon's tether and successfully severs the connection, allowing the rocket to continue into space.
Realizing that their investment has effectively gone to bust, Reginald screams in frustration as the rocket departs Earth. The rocket completes its journey into space with Henry in command.
One year later, the space station has been converted into a luxury resort and has started accepting guests. The few Toppats on board the rocket have reformed and became resort staff, whilst everyone else on the ground were arrested by the Government. The real motive behind Henry's hijacking and conversion of the rocket from a criminal superbase to a destination resort remains a mystery to everyone, including the employees.

Stealing the Diamond
This ending has four similarities with the Intruder on a Scooter ending from Stealing the Diamond:
- The fail message for doing nothing at the gate alludes back to the timeout fail outside of the museum:
StD: Wow, you're off to a great start.
CtM: Off to a good start!
- The fail message for the Battering Ram alludes back to the Basket fail, having a similar thing about neglecting physics.
StD: Ah, torque. I bet you wish you paid more attention in those physics' lessons now.
CtM: Still ignoring those physics lessons?
- These are the only two routes where all the choices are Quick Time Events. Coincidentally, PBT did not have any QTE's, but PD was the only route in FtC with QTE's.
- The Scooter is used during both paths. However, in this path, Henry only uses it before the 3rd option.
Fleeing the Complex
Sal Malone and Icepick talking about trading hats is a callback to a very similar scene from Presumed Dead. The scene in question featured Karl Pinkerton and Gnewt Stoneheel (along with Franz Pferd), on high alert guarding a gate to stop Henry from escaping The Wall.
While on the job Karl complimented Gnewt on his ushanka, and asked Gnewt if they could trade hats before Henry rams into them with a truck, referenced in Stickmin Space Resort with Henry ramming Sal with his scooter.
The Quick Time Event being a success in the second segment is likely also a reference to it being a success in the last segment in Presumed Dead.
Team Fortress 2
Sal Malone and Icepick talking about trading hats is likely also a reference to the Team Fortress 2 trading area where some players become beggars, forcing or bothering others to trade their cosmetics with them.
Mario Kart
The pose Henry makes when going up the Ramp and the Blue Shell that appears after are both taken from this game.
Marvel
The fail message for Ramp is a spoof of a quote by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
Memes
The Drill's fail message is a reference to "haha money printer go brrr"
Lethal League
The Hammer (Right) is a reference to this game, where players could use weapons to redirect balls towards others.
Wreck-it-Ralph
The Hammer (Middle) is a reference to this movie, where Fix-it-Felix has a hammer that can fix or heal things, and he can hit himself with said hammer to repair injuries.
Minecraft
In the 5th and last timeout in this ending, the fail message is "Return to Sender", a possible reference to a Minecraft advancement of the same name.
Trivia
- This is the only PBT route that does not feature or mention the Romanian Ruby due to Henry never directly interacting with Reginald and the Right Hand Man who wanted the Ruby back in the Toppats' possession.
- Considering Henry's theft of the Toppat Orbital Station, and all of the Toppats' property by extension, SSR and "Jewel Baron" are possibly the only routes where he is in possession of the Norwegian Emerald, even though it is never seen.
- Alongside the Presumed Dead route in Fleeing the Complex, this is the only pathway where a quick-time event could only be solved by letting the timer run out.
- This is the longest Presumed Dead chosen pathway (5 parts), as the other Presumed Dead chosen pathways have only 4 parts.
- This is the only route where the player is presented with the seemingly same choices, but each have different outcomes (3 Hammers). They differ by their mouse-over sound effect and their placement on the select screen which also correspond to their utilization.
- Left has a hard impact sound and has Henry hit the glass on the left.
- Middle has a fleshy impact sound and has Henry hit himself in the head as he is in the middle of the screen.
- Right has a strong impact sound and has Henry deflect a bullet from the right.
Plot Holes
- At the end of the path, Bryan Hampton claims Henry's motives remain a mystery, yet it is made rather obvious with how Pure Blooded Thief ends.
