Terrence Suave is an unseen major antagonist in the Henry Stickmin series, who appears as an unseen minor antagonist in Infiltrating the Airship and Completing the Mission.
While he is never physically seen, he is seen in a portrait during Infiltrating the Airship ("Pure Blooded Thief" pathway) and a portrait on board the Toppat Orbital Station in Completing the Mission ("Special BROvert Ops" pathway).
Bio
- Infiltrating the Airship: The previous leader of the Toppat Clan. He was overthrown because of his reckless nature and his poor leadership.
- Completing The Mission: One of the worst leaders the Toppat clan has ever had. He would launch raids that made no sense, just for the thrill.
Appearance
In all his picture frames in the legacy version of Infiltrating the Airship, Terrence has a black top hat and is shown holding a revolver.
In all his picture frames in the remastered version of Infiltrating the Airship, Terrence has a black top hat and is shown holding a handgun resembling a golden desert eagle.
Timeline
At some point, Terrence became the twentieth leader of the Toppat Clan, replacing Sir Wilford IV. Terrence launched illogical raids purely for the thrill and made reckless decisions which caused him to be regarded as one of the worst leaders.
Due to his poor leadership skills, Terrence was eventually overthrown by Reginald Copperbottom, who took his place as the Toppat leader and put Terrence's hat on top of his own.
Based on Reginald's actions towards Henry Stickmin in The Betrayed and Toppat Civil Warfare endings, Terrence was likely killed by Reginald.
Infiltrating the Airship
During the "Pure Blooded Thief" pathway, when Geoffrey Plumb catches Henry Stickmin trying to steal the Romanian Ruby, his picture can be seen on a wall in the hallway of the Airship where other famous Toppat Clan leaders are shown in order on the wall.
Completing the Mission
Another portrait of him is seen in the hall of fame on board the Toppat Orbital Station during "Special BROvert Ops".
Trivia
- His last name, if interpreted as an adjective, would be very fitting to his appearance.
- His name is a reference to one of the disguises, Terry Suave from the movie, The Master of Disguise. PuffballsUnited states that he thought everyone would get this reference but no one did.[1]
- Him being seen as one of the toppat clan's worst leaders could also be a reference to the fact The Master Of Disguise has gone down in infamy for being one of the worst movies ever.
- He was originally going to be the main antagonist of a scrapped side-story concept in The Henry Stickmin Collection where Ellie Rose assists Reginald and the Right Hand Man in overthrowing Terrence from Ellie's perspective. Ellie would "sacrifice" herself to trap herself and Terrence in an Escape Pod, landing near The Wall. Terrence's fate is unknown but Ellie was later captured.
- Terrence holds a Revolver in his legacy ItA portrait, while in the remastered version he instead holds a (gigantic) golden Desert Eagle.
