Time in a Bottle (Japanese:ボトルの中の時間 - Botoru no naka no jikan) is a close-range type Spirit that appears in Completing the Mission, during the Spirit Forme option in the Revenged pathway. Its Spirit user is Right Hand Man.

The Spirit absorbs the sands of time as the spirit user keeps it activated. One turn of the bottle allows the Spirit user to slow time at will. The Spirit user can also completely freeze time if the spirit absorbs enough sands of time to completely fill the bottle.

Name origin[]

Time in a Bottle is named after the 1973 Jim Croce song of the same name. It was originally not intended to be released as a single; but when Croce was killed in a plane crash in September 1973, its lyrics, dealing with mortality and the wish to have more time, had additional resonance. The song subsequently received a large amount of airplay as an album track and demand for a single release built. When it was eventually issued as a 7", it became his second and final No. 1 hit.

Trivia[]

The Right Hand Man audibly announces his spirit as Time in a Bottle, however, it is subtitled as Bottled Time—a reference to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure localizations where they may suffer chances to avoid copyright infringements.
In Revenged's fail, it confirms that RHM had been carrying Time in a Bottle, even if he wasn't a cyborg.^[1]
It was killed during the main pathway since Right Hand Man was killed by Henry in Revenged. RHM also died in Jewel Baron, Pardoned Pals, Capital Gains, and Toppat Civil Warfare, so it was killed during this endings.
