― Wallace Pemberton's Bio |
Wallace Pemberton is a minor character in Fleeing the Complex that only appears in "International Rescue Operative" as a minor antagonist and "The Betrayed" route as a tritagonist.
He is a double agent working for the Toppat Clan in order to secure the release of his allies from The Wall.
Fleeing the Complex
Wallace makes his appearance during the IRO and TB pathways when Henry calls a friend and tries to get to them via escape through the Wall's cafeteria.
Here, Pemberton can be seen on his smartphone until Henry interferes in someway.
The Betrayed
During "The Betrayed" route, calling him out is an option for Henry when he tries to make his way through the cafeteria. However, if chosen, Wallace erroneously unveils his identity and spoils the plan, resulting in a fail. Additionally, Wallace is also zombified in the Neurotoxin fail.
During the Drill Pod option, he can be seen taking cover behind a cafeteria table while three Toppats raid the cafeteria so Henry can escape. Due to his status as an undercover agent for the Toppats, Wilhelm, Sureshot and Ahnoldt likely recognized him as an ally, although his fate remains unknown.
International Rescue Operative
During the "International Rescue Operative" pathway, Wallace is alerted by Henry's presence when Willie Wagner warns the other wall guards nearby, Kado, Joe, Nadya and Ryan, about his attempt in an escape. However, he does not intervene.
Profile
Appearance
As an undercover operative, Wallace Pemberton bears a dark grey mustache and wears a grey cap, like other workers at The Wall. He also wears light blue shoes.

Trivia
- In The Henry Stickmin Collection, if the players select his bio, then leave the bios section and return back, his name is replaced with Henry's bio (Breaking the Bank). This glitch has been patched in later versions of the game.
- There was also a glitch in The Henry Stickmin Collection where his name didn't show up on his bio card.
- Back during the flash version, when Wallace was still unnamed, players assumed that Wallace was Gordon Smith.
- He is PuffballsUnited's favorite Wall employee, according to the first part of his Developer Commentary of The Henry Stickmin Collection. This was somewhat ironic since Wallace is a mole of the Toppats and is technically not allied to The Wall.
- He can be seen without a lower body at some points, which is a visual error in-game.
- He is one of the few minor characters to call Henry by his name, the others being Hubert Brown, Fredrick Muenster, B. Hampton, an Unnamed Wall Messenger, Ahnoldt Schwarz and Reference.
- It is possible that he was the only character that survived the gunfire between the Toppat Clan members and The Wall's employees, as he works for The Wall as an undercover agent of the Toppat Clan.
